If it were me, I'd have a small price like $12 then pay affiliates 100%
through JVZoo to give them incentive to promote you, along with a 50%
commission on your upsell.
Once you set a price on the front end so it isn't free, I'd also try to
JV with those having big launches that are related to WP in some way and
see if they will offer your product free as a free bonus to their
customers, where their customers just have to give their email addresses
to get their bonus. This will help you build a list of buyers.
You will probably get better results with the second idea if you do have
a price...It will be more effective as a bonus if you say something
like "Get my $12 course for free as a bonus".
Try to think of a way you can ethically make this claim..maybe add a few
more videos and charge $12 for that package but use it as a free offer?
Maybe take a few of the 21 videos out of the free package, add them to a
mid level package with a couple more new videos. The price adds value
to the bonus.
Maybe have a free, a $12 and a $20 options?
I need to add that if your course is free, it probably won't make for a
good bonus item to other product creators for their launches, as you
aren't giving their customers anything exclusive. You need to create
some type of exclusive offer to get cross-promotion like this.
If their customers can get the product for free someone else, it really doesn't add value to their own offer.
